It's known epic exclusive, so bust it is. They might not miss the gog userbase much, but they will feel the lack of steam release before long.

I try not to buy Steam exclusives (with very few exceptions), which means I hardly buy any games on Steam at all :)

Ancient-Red-Dragon: I don't think the devs or publishers care at all about GOG customers who bust on not buying Alan Wake 2 ever.

If GOG had a massive market share, then things would be different, but it doesn't, so they aren't.
It's not just this for me. My thing is if you're going to be digital only, unless you're releasing on GOG no money for you. After shit like the Switch debacle where the store went down for a while and people couldn't play their digital copies, just no.
I'm not in support of zeroing out physical everywhere. Movies are the worst case of it due to no downloading and worst audio and video versus their disc releases.

I see what you are saying, but unfortunately none of the publishers of any of the types of stuff you mentioned are going to care, since consumers who care about the kind of stuff you mentioned are in the minority, and most don't care about that and will buy everything they release regardless of any of the types of issues that you brought up.

And they won't be reading this GOG forum either, so it's not like they will even be aware of your reasons for not buying their stuff.

Slick_JMista: We still haven't gotten Quantum Break for some reason.
One reason is pretty obvious imo. Even on Steam remedy refused to offer the videos for the game offline which means that as it is right now the game would have to be online to be fully experienced. I am aware that they offered downloadable videos for some console version but they never did this for PC.

Yeah what is really gross are some companies EULA's for digital games you BUY, not free to play. The terms include your gameplay data, in other words, to scrap OTHER games gameplay data from your library. To either sell to other companies or to get their own marketing dept. to send you predatory ads. I would expect nonsense like this from Freemium NOT games paid for.
edit: Yeah I said predatory, I will never use the word personalized for this behavior.

I ordered the Jagged Alliance 3 Limited Edition which comes with some sort of outdoor military bag, after that I got offered paramilitary equipment.
My girlfriend ordered an umbrella and after that she got offered latex costumes ...

And I love the suggesions on Amazon: You just bought a Blu-Ray player. Would you like to buy another? Many customers buy these two Blu-Ray players together ... yeah, right.

These predators are the biggest failure in predator evolution :D

Yeah well, I'll buy some stuff on steam so you don't have to. It will be my sacrifice and I'll bear that burden with dignity.
You bought stuff on epic, so I don't have to. Seems only fair to me at the end of the day.
I will end up buying the Ez2DJ full game on Steam as I have no idea if it would EVER end up on GOG or if the Korean company even heard of it.
Seriously getting a legit home version of Ez2DJ is insane...I never thought it would happen.

Another drivel from GOG hater.

Steam does have "massive market share". Where's AW2 on Steam?

I miss the downvote button. Not for voting but for hiding nonsense for myself.

I'd love to see Quantum Break hit GOG with all of the videos of course - but yeah, that might need a total re-work for the video to be shown in-game & be used locally (not online) and/or they'd need to supply these episodes as video extras for us.

Quantum Break was awesome, IMHO.

EDIT - Though, you also got Microsoft, Epic, and others need to be involved w/ that and agreeing to it to hit GOG. So, probably not anytime soon coming to GOG...unfortunately.

Agreed, I will have to replay it sometime :)
There is plenty of stuff MS needs to move to PC or make BC for the XBox. The whole 360 Indie games section for example as only a fraction of those games ended up anywhere else....lwhere can "Evilquest", "Athleon" or "Vorpal" be found?
MS dropped the ball on BC by NOT even including the XBox Game Studios library as BC, notably "Project Sylpheed".
And don't forgetsome of the awesome XBox Live Arcarde remakes like Gyruss or Prince of Persia Classic, which can only be played on the XBox 360. They would have been a perfect fit for the MS Store for Windows (or nox XBox Live), but were never ported.

And also would still love to see Fable 2 Complete and Gears 2+3+Judgment hit PC also.

EDIT - They'd probably be best off doing a big Halo MCC-like collections for both the Gears series & Fable series, TBH.
