Anyway, I still want Alan Wake 2 to come to GOG eventually, but I highly doubt that it will, with Epic being the publisher.

Race swaps are always done based on anti-White racism of the people performing the race swap, and/or the anti-White racist lobby groups whom they are trying to pander to.

So to be against race-swapping is not racist, and in fact, being against race-swapping is the opposite of racist: to be against race-swapping, is, in fact, to take a stand against racism.

With Alan Wake 2: it's abundantly clear that they degraded Alan Wake into becoming merely a side character in his own title game for only two reasons: 1) anti-White racism and also, at the same time, 2) anti-Male sexism.

This sort of thing happens all the time, since anti-White racism and anti-Male sexism has now become extremely rampant in the gaming industry.

It's the exact same reason, for example, also for why Devolver Digital fired the Lo Wang voice actor out of Shadow Warrior 3 solely because he has White skin, even though he did an excellent job playing the character for the previous two games and there were zero flaws in his performance.

And it's probably also the exact same reason for why SEGA fired the White voice actor who did an excellent job performing the role of Kazuma Kiryu in the English version voice-overs of those games, and replaced him with a youtuber who is utterly incompetent at voice-acting, but who apparently was hired solely because he is of a non-White race.

Certainly Alan Wake 2 is following this exact same trend of the gaming industry embracing anti-White racism and anti-Male sexism, and no such race-swapping, and no such degrading the main title character into becoming a side character within his own title game, would be present in it if it were not.

Here we go with people throwing the word racist around. I live in a very liberal state, and most of the people I have seen being racist, are not right-wing people. You can be racist whether you are left or right.

Like my wife's co-workers. Who are 100% liberal but openly talk to my wife about how they hate white people.

The important thing is we all remember that, no matter where we stand on a given issue, the people we disagree with are racist.

I think it was a part when the darkness was trying to take control of her. Still, they could have said the same line without bringing skin color into it.

Btw, back on topic, GOG still has several broken downloads both via Galaxy or offline installer from the site. I'd most likely not purchase a big sized game like this here to avoid the constant issues plaguing this store.
