CD Projekt RED, GOG's sister company and the development studio of the acclaimed The Witcher franchise, has just announced their new game - THE BARD: Saviors of Queens. The adventure is supposed to revolve around an undisclosed poet whose name is yet to be determined.

Following recent video game trends the title will offer a very short and linear story. Almost no gameplay whatsoever and twenty launch DLCs, including a special pink banjo (normally obtainable by finishing a game) and a unicorn mount, will have you stuck in front of your computer screen for minutes. Check out the announcement trailer below and visit http://www.saviors-of-queens.com for even less details.
Too bad you guys didn't include that "Friday"song as the background music since April 1st is on Friday ...
lol kinda an elaborate april fools joke with a trailer and everything

El_Caz: Wow... instead of sword and sorcery, we get mandolin and sex! Well played, CD Projekt! Well played!
So if sword is the equivalent of mandolin, that makes sorcery the... Awesome! That explains why I feel so good, every time I cast magic missile! Wait... I didn't mean to say it that way... I'm going to just shut up now. *walks away*
"visit blahblabityblah for even less details" LMAO
This is awesome!

though it would be cool if they choose to actually make the game I'd buy it.
I realize this is an April Fool's Day prank, but please CD, if you ever do a Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition with additional quests and editor, please include this adventure in that pack. Even if it is just a 30 minute mock game, it'd still be awesome.
I'd be so over that game if it was actually released. :D Looks like fun and the graphics, which are just lovely, Witcher 2 lovely.
I am confused... What's the joke here, again? The Bard, or the witty commentary on modern gaming which is, unfortunately, so true... :P
Great! I'll buy it ;–)

Read the paragraph before the video, its basically saying you'll have 30 minutes of game play and 20 different types of DLC ala Call of Duty with 10+ different maps as DLC and only a 4-6 hr single player campaign, at least that's how I'm seeing it. It's pretty funny :)
Hmm . Another project which will slow down the new releases on GOG .

And happy april fool's day people .

Are you guys sure you're not get into trouble with the no gameplay whatsoever concept? I'm positive i saw another game using that very same concept recently, so it's likely trademarked by now.
If you don't add that character or weapon to Witcher II there will be a riot.
"Non-linear Male-female relations"

YES! FINALLY!
It would be better for CD Projekt to stop preserve declining holidays and recover orginal Extra Klasyka titles!
