Istus Ra is my name. I have all campaigns but got stuck in some missions and dropped it. I can play on weekends so I'll hop on when I can. Been meaning to beat it since the news of GW2 came out.
This char is a D/A with all campaigns unlocked but none finished.

Try a Ritualist. It's my favorite class.

Well, took until yesterday, but I recovered my old account. Added the key from the new compilation I bought and it worked beautifully. I got all the character slots I was supposed to. My character names: Arianna Starlight (Ranger) and Alikarra Kialin (Elementalist). Still in pre-Searing, even though both characters are 3 years old. (I started to play, but never got very far. Life got really hectic and I had no time to play an MMO anymore.) Currently working with Arianna, though I hope to play a litte with Alikarra soon.

Okay downloaded the the Trilogy client from fileplanet and I can't log-in because I don't have an account so do I need to make one? If you ask why i got the client I got it by accident looking for the trial.

I didn't buy the game through Steam but I can usually be found on there or in #gog on QuakeNet.
MrWikki - (Either I misread your post or maybe you edited it while I was writing this?) You do not need to buy the unlock packs at the ingame store, if that's what you mean. If you have somehow downloaded a client but not purchased the game, you'll need to buy a CD key or similar. There is no subscription fee so it still costs money to start an account.

There's a cheap copy of Prophecies (the first game) on eBay right now, just the CD key. Seems vaguely shady, and might be a EULA violation, but the seller has good feedback and the bidding is at $1.80 so w/e. Guild Wars CD keys are sealed in perforated foldy paper slips that you tear open, so one thing they can't do is sell you a used key by accident.
There are also some reasonably priced sealed copies. Man it amazes me these games are still so expensive at retail. I'm tempted to go half & half with you for the Factions collector's edition, but you'd be getting ripped off because the trilogy will almost certainly go on sale again over the summer. MMOs will do anything to get customers during the summer.
(Also I'm the only person in the world who thinks Factions is the best of the three.)

Just got my GW Platinum (Prophecies+ eye of the north) with Factions (already have nightfall) for 26$ on amazon. Plus they sent me actual game boxes, something I don't get much of anymore :| Sweet deal, seeing how the trilogy pack doesn't come with eye of the north, but it comes with nightfall and its 40$
