I, too, am waiting for Impulse to give up the goods. I'll probably start the thing downloading around my lunch hour so it'll be ready to go by the time I get home from work. Looking forward to it.

I typically don't spend $50 on games anymore. But I wouldn't mind paying out for this game, but since I have so many games to get through still (Just bought Divine Divinity today!) I think I'll pick it up as a birthday present for myself in January.

Spent £39.99 on the CE.
Possibly a bit of a waste, since the CE only has a few things to set it apart from the regular version, but I felt like spending the cash.
So far I've read good reviews from PCG (via RPS), and the escapist (although that was for the 360, and they recommend getting it on PC).
I expect it will have its faults, but it looks good enough for me (and that's the important thing).

from what I've read PC is the best in basically every way. 360 has crappy textures but PS3 has more bugs than the 360, so if you're going console pick your poison.

There may be a release day Auth via SecruROM like Boarderlands had (to prevent installs prior to launch day) check the box they will say if theirs a 1 time connection or not.

Fun fact: The Collector's Edition DVD comes with 5 serial keys :p. 3 things to redeem for DA/ME2, one thing to redeem for Warhammer Online, and the actual install key.

hmm... I have no interest in Warhammer Online. If the serial keys are similar for the UK edition, then someone can have my serial for that. I'll keep you updated, but thanks to regional bullshit, I have to wait until friday! GAH!

Oh, almost forgot. There is a god (and I don't need a former Army Ranger with a mother who loves in a trailer park to prove it). The PC Collector's Edition has a cloth map. A NICE cloth map (not that garbage that came with NWN).
