I've only played a bit of it
BUT I LOVE THIS GAME.
Dragon Age Origins is slightly cheaper in Malaysia.
It's around USD36.85 (normal version) as opposed to USD49.99 .
However, Malaysian earns peanuts.
Therefore, if you are here, don't hesitate to get a copy.
Hmmmmm... I wonder, how much are we paying por the game?
AUD $100 is it? Oh yes.......
I hate the price inflation on books and games here!!!!!
On the other hand, I saw Patricin 3 at a shop for $2

Might Steam have a cheaper price? Is digital download an option?

Heck yes
$55 AUD
I might pick it up at a sale......
It's just that retail here often lets us down
Geez people still buy entertainment in Australia? With the exchange rates and better standard prices overseas, I get most of my DVDs from the UK amazon and most of my games from american or canadian ebay sellers. The wait is an acceptable tradeoff when you can get 2 games isntead of one

Thanks to our Turkish distributor called Aral Ithalat game is coming to Turkey on November 20th retail, this is really annoying and stupid. I can buy the game from Steam now but I don't have enough money right now to buy from there so I must wait. This is bad really bad. :D I can't wait to play this game....
Ahh but even if the distributor did get it on time, you'd still not be able to afford to buy it and it'd be sitting there on the shelf taunting you

Well, looks like I have to pay through the nose and import a retail version. There are now reports that Valve are not allowing Japanese IPs to unlock this game. This is a horrible sign of things to come -- perhaps the end of cross region gifting for games that have no hope of ever being sold in your region.

I can buy it with installment retail. :) They divide game's money to 8 and I can pay the price in 8 months. Also in Turkey EA Games' retail games are cheap they are only $35. So I can buy it. :P

I played it some last night. I'm loving the story. I'm not sure why people think the graphics are merely so-so, I think the game's gorgeous. And, I'm loving the characters. Alistair is my new best friend.
Alistair: "She strongarmed me!"
Duncan: "She strongarmed you into sassing the mage, did she?"
Alistair: "..."
But I'm getting my butt whooped a lot. Like... a lot. And I don't really know why. Also, for some reason, the DLC codes I got seemed to redeem just fine, but they didn't attach themselves to my account, and when I load up the game, I don't see any options for DLC on my menu. I think I broke something. (Sigh) I'm going to have to yell at someone in tech support.
So the game itself? Yes. But a lot of the side stuff? So far? No.

Required stupid question: Did you make sure that the account you registered them to is the account you logged in with?
I registered all of mine at approximately 1630 EST yesterday, and I know that the site actually went down as I started to download (was quite funny). When I redeemed mine, I actually got both the "invalid code" and "code redeemed" messages (everything worked, so no need to stab anyone). So Bioware/EA definitely have issues with the code redeeming.
Although, buying the non-free-for-PC DLC was pretty painless.

Don't worry, not offended by the question. To be honest, I'm not actually -sure.- I kept getting the runaround on their damn website. I have an EA account which is what I was using to log in, but I seemed to be having a hard time -staying- logged in. I'm pretty sure I got it tagged to the right one. I ended up using my E-mail address as the login name, and that's the same thing I use in-game when I launch, but still no-go.

i'm fairly certain the bioware account is separate from the EA account... if I remember right I had an EA account but still had to sign up for a Bioware account to make sure the achievements registered (i was trying out the flash game a few weeks ago)

That's not what they told me when I tried to log on with it, they kept telling me I could use either/or to log on, so since I had the one, I didn't see why I had to create another.
(Headdesk.) Way to be clear, BioWare. Love your games, hate your website.
