Orryyrro: Well, I must put in here that Nightfall has much better scenery than the Kaineng City areas of Factions, and it has a much less confusing layout too, and it's longer, and it has heroes, so I guess what I'm saying is, Nightfall is a better campaign in general if the focus is on PvE.
im certainly finding it that way so far, Kaineng City was a nightmare to traverse and very boring to look at, Nightfall is a vast improvement so far

Well Guild Wars is less an MMO and more a new version of Gauntlet with big communal chat rooms XD.

It's my first time playing an MMO (single player though, haven't ventured into having people along with me) and I'm actually enjoying it quite a bit. I guess I just want to get the hang of it before adventuring with other humans

First night I got it I played just over eight hours straight >_>

Next two nights were more and I've only stopped to write this here LOL

Okay then, back to the game :P

I didn't even know what "chapter" to choose at the beginning, so random decided it for me :)

Prophecies if you want long experience process
Factions if you want to meet the most people (there is current big even here)
Nightfall if you want to have A.I. to play with you

I was level 5 before I realised yesterday I'd bought the GOTY Edition and had extra items via entering /bonus in the chat window. It's helped a lot :D

Yes, "at some stage", but if you want to have them fast and many to have some good choice then to start in Nightfall is the best choice.

Also - you need to be in Nightfall to start getting any "your own" heroes quests (or in Eye of the North expansion). So best way to start is NF and then EotN :)
