supercoolandrew: Bought this game and played it for the past few days. Been soloing so far, though playing with others might be even more fun. Not really good finding people at my low level to form parties though, especially since I'm still unfamiliar w/ the game and is still figuring out the skills that I should use.
PS: What skills should I try to get at the start as an elementalist?
At the start, eles can be decent damage dealers if you go for air magic or fire magic. Air magic is more focused, and fire magic has more AoE, so in a lot of PvE situations, fire magic has an advantage over air. Water and Earth builds tend to be more specific. You'll need to know what you'll be facing and how to get the most out of each skill to make these elements effective.
As far as endgame/hard mode is concerned though, Elementalists are pretty much the worst damage dealers right now. They have some nice utility skills in the Water/Earth/Air lines, but other professions are simply more efficient in most situations. Especially when it comes to dealing armor-ignoring damage. Only armor-ignoring damage eles have are a couple of not so great earth magic skills. (And the burning condition for degen I guess, but it's not that great all by itself). The only profession that's worse than eles for damage are paragons.
