Groovy. I should be on to invite you.

I'm on. :)

CymTyr: Guild is formed. It is called "Good Old Games" with the abbreviation GoG. Send Cym a tell and help me get it going so I can promote a couple people to officer.
What a pity that Almak is not here around anymore (or at last it seems so), he could take you to our Alliance (Luxon). Since he has created that Alliance, I don't think I can invite you there.
Hey Cym, is the gog guild in an alliance? If not I would like to form an alliance with you guys since I already have a fairly developed Guild Hall of my own. That way, maybe the new goggers can use some of my guild hall's stuff too :)
I don't think the guild is in an alliance until there are a few more people in it, that way not as much platinum is wasted if the guild doesn't get the support or numbers it needs.

I vote Luxon, just for the record.
Anet had to release an update to Guild Wars when I was trying to make some progress on my RPG backlog... I love that company but they make it hard to keep that game uninstalled even after 5 years.

I'll probably be re-installing soon if you still need people. My main is a necromancer named Dean of Death decked out in her 15k armor and cat ears. If people need help I can do pretty much any build to fit the role whether it be MM, SS or blood.

If you get enough people to finish the game we should do some elite areas. Fissure of Woe and the Underworld never gets old.

You don't actually need other people to do the elite areas now you can have a full party of heroes

The guild was literally just formed yesterday, so no alliance yet. If you'd like to form an alliance that would be fine, I'm sure.

We still need people. I will send an invite to Dean of Death and if you choose to join the guild then even better :)

As a side note, I think we may have enough plat for a guild hall, but we'll need to win a Hall of Heroes first, so yes, we definitely need more people.

n99127, what's your ingame name? Would be fun for the chaps and gals to have an alliance so soon.

Also, I'll be on and off all day. Just post your ingame name here or in a PM to me, and I'll send an invite - you do not have to be on for me to send it.

.. and they need to leave their current guild ;) (just a tip for beginners)
Maybe I reinstall and give this game a 3rd try.
No matter how many times I try, I just cannot get into MMOs ><

Actually, Guild Wars isn't really MMO, according to Arenanet whose created the game.

They called it CORPG (Competitive Online Role-Playing Game) but one can replace word competitive with cooperative. I don't really view Guild Wars as MMO anyway.
So how does this guild thing work? Do we have a visitable place somewhere? I'm lost...

Yes, but it needs to be bought. It is called Guild Hall.

After that press G on keyboard and click "Guild Hall" button

Step 1: PM me your ingame name and be sure you're not currently in a guild so I can set you a guild invite.

Step 2: Let me know if you need mats for crafting armor or whatnot.

Step 3: Once we get at least enough high lvls to run Hall of Heroes, we need to win a match for our guild hall. After that, we should have enough to get it immediately.

Step 4: Guild hall will show on your world map once we get it. It's as simple as clicking on the icon and watching the loading screen, and then PROFIT!
;)
