Aurum potestas est.

The Guild Gold Edition + The Guild 2 + The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas, the entire collection of the fun and complex medieval European dynasty sims, including two titles released today, is available bundled 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.97 for the set of three for the next 72 hours!

Europe, 1400 A.D. - The last crusade, which started 6 years before, ended in a horrible defeat when the crusaders failed to conquer Nikopolis before being reached by the armies of Osmans and Serbs. The dream of conquering Jerusalem is forgotten, and European authorities are well aware that over the coming centuries, they will be submerged into defending themselves against the Osman forces, which have several outposts in Eastern Europe. The Roman Catholic church is in a state of devastating dispute and intrigue, and uprisings are clearly just around the corner.

The Guild Series Bundle brings two new titles to GOG.com. The Guild 2 is a unique mixture of RPG and life simulation in an immerse middle ages scenario. The player and his party become part of history and can even change it in real-time. Go back to the dark middle ages and found a new dynasty. Take care of yourself, because your opponents never sleep. Marry a beautiful wife and make new friends; control your life. Hand down your skills and your descendants will greatly appreciate it. The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas is a stand-alone expansion that transforms the game into an even greater experience by adding a huge area including the cities of "The Hanse" located at the shores of the European seas. Sea battles and naval trading are added to the gameplay, and a new campaign mode provides more than 10 hours of additional fun.

For the next 72 hours you can transport yourself into the European middle ages and start your very own dynasty of money-grabbing power-mongers with The Guild Series Bundle, for only $11.97. The games are also available separately, for $4.99 each. Titles already owned count towards the bundle completion and the higher discount rate. The offer lasts until Sunday, March 2, at 10:59AM. After that, the series receives permanent 20% off discount for those getting all three titles.

Can we also expect Venice and Renaissance ?
A famously buggy game despite community patches I believe but a great game nonetheless, highly recommended.

That fully depends on GOG :) I would love to have them released as well - especially Renaissance.

The top post is missing
"Pirates of the European Seas" so it reads
"The Guild Gold Edition + The Guild 2 + The Guild 2"
Wow - The Guild 2 AND The Guild 2 - 'mazing!

Good to see the Nordic releases continuing anyway...

*edit* Aaaand Ninja'd by the correction (unless I'm losing it completely)

As much as I love the first The Guild, I've heard too many bad things about the second one and even more about the expansion so I won't be buying at this time.
It's also already been in a bundle, so perhaps sometime during a 75% or more sale.

Ok, thanks.
So Guild 2 wasn't on GOG until now?

It's not my cup of tea but some GOGers will be happy about this release... Also thumbs up for day 1 discount.

With all this fuss about regional pricing, AAA games, accusations about giving up on core values etc. I was hoping GOG will try to counterbalance negative emotions and cheer us up somehow by releasing a bunch of oldies..Well maybe next week...

Gotcha! That's the second time I guessed an enigmatic hint correctly ;) I'm glad to see it here and hope that Venice and Renaissance will follow.
Thanks Nordic Games but ... no German language? Aww, and you guys had such a good run with this the last few months.

Greetings to you and your team as well. Thank you all for your continued support of GOG, and for providing games that will continue to beat my wallet silly. =)
