Aurum potestas est.

The Guild Gold Edition + The Guild 2 + The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas, the entire collection of the fun and complex medieval European dynasty sims, including two titles released today, is available bundled 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.97 for the set of three for the next 72 hours!

Europe, 1400 A.D. - The last crusade, which started 6 years before, ended in a horrible defeat when the crusaders failed to conquer Nikopolis before being reached by the armies of Osmans and Serbs. The dream of conquering Jerusalem is forgotten, and European authorities are well aware that over the coming centuries, they will be submerged into defending themselves against the Osman forces, which have several outposts in Eastern Europe. The Roman Catholic church is in a state of devastating dispute and intrigue, and uprisings are clearly just around the corner.

The Guild Series Bundle brings two new titles to GOG.com. The Guild 2 is a unique mixture of RPG and life simulation in an immerse middle ages scenario. The player and his party become part of history and can even change it in real-time. Go back to the dark middle ages and found a new dynasty. Take care of yourself, because your opponents never sleep. Marry a beautiful wife and make new friends; control your life. Hand down your skills and your descendants will greatly appreciate it. The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas is a stand-alone expansion that transforms the game into an even greater experience by adding a huge area including the cities of "The Hanse" located at the shores of the European seas. Sea battles and naval trading are added to the gameplay, and a new campaign mode provides more than 10 hours of additional fun.

For the next 72 hours you can transport yourself into the European middle ages and start your very own dynasty of money-grabbing power-mongers with The Guild Series Bundle, for only $11.97. The games are also available separately, for $4.99 each. Titles already owned count towards the bundle completion and the higher discount rate. The offer lasts until Sunday, March 2, at 10:59AM. After that, the series receives permanent 20% off discount for those getting all three titles.
Vote for the remaining stand-alone expansions of The Guild 2 now!

Disantos: Once i played a round with my friend (we played the guild 1 like for.. since it was released together). He attacked an Npc in the guild 2 and asked me for help. So i helped him and we got that guy down.. suddenly he murders him! I was shocked! But the funny thing in this story was... i was sentenced to death for murder LOL. And he went out of it without any kind of punishment... i loves this series. xD
That sounds like fun. It's a pity Guild series is suffering from so many bugs, some gameplay issues and out of sync problems during multiplayer.
Interesting release. Of all the Guild 2 games/add-ons I've only played Renaissance and afaik this the only one you "need" because it has most or all of the features of the other Guild 2 games. I'd appreciate further information on this from Guild 2 veterans since I'm not 100% sure.

GOG.com: Aurum potestas est.
What he said?
That reminded me to that joke, where the doctor says to the patient: "We don't know what you have, but it is somewhat Latin." ^^
I'm liking the new Buy it early get it for cheap deal you guys have going lately. Normally I wait till a 75% off sale or so before I get a game (if by that time I'm still interested). Now with the 60% off sales on release I don't bother waiting, if the game seems to be something I'd like than I'm in.

JudasIscariot: It was one of the first games I bought on GOG.com way back in the day and it was one of those games that I and TheJoe recommended to everyone :)

Mivas: That begs for high5, Judas ;).
High5 :D

(sorry about the late high5 btw :/ )
An excellent release! The game is well worth playing despite the bugs.

However, why did this disappear from the news/headlines list?
