Aurum potestas est.

The Guild Gold Edition + The Guild 2 + The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas, the entire collection of the fun and complex medieval European dynasty sims, including two titles released today, is available bundled 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.97 for the set of three for the next 72 hours!

Europe, 1400 A.D. - The last crusade, which started 6 years before, ended in a horrible defeat when the crusaders failed to conquer Nikopolis before being reached by the armies of Osmans and Serbs. The dream of conquering Jerusalem is forgotten, and European authorities are well aware that over the coming centuries, they will be submerged into defending themselves against the Osman forces, which have several outposts in Eastern Europe. The Roman Catholic church is in a state of devastating dispute and intrigue, and uprisings are clearly just around the corner.

The Guild Series Bundle brings two new titles to GOG.com. The Guild 2 is a unique mixture of RPG and life simulation in an immerse middle ages scenario. The player and his party become part of history and can even change it in real-time. Go back to the dark middle ages and found a new dynasty. Take care of yourself, because your opponents never sleep. Marry a beautiful wife and make new friends; control your life. Hand down your skills and your descendants will greatly appreciate it. The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas is a stand-alone expansion that transforms the game into an even greater experience by adding a huge area including the cities of "The Hanse" located at the shores of the European seas. Sea battles and naval trading are added to the gameplay, and a new campaign mode provides more than 10 hours of additional fun.

For the next 72 hours you can transport yourself into the European middle ages and start your very own dynasty of money-grabbing power-mongers with The Guild Series Bundle, for only $11.97. The games are also available separately, for $4.99 each. Titles already owned count towards the bundle completion and the higher discount rate. The offer lasts until Sunday, March 2, at 10:59AM. After that, the series receives permanent 20% off discount for those getting all three titles.

Bloodygoodgames: Ah, you're correct - I bought The Guild Complete Collection (just checked my GG account :)

http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DDB-GUILD/the-guild-complete-collection-bundle

It too was cheaper than what GOG is offering in a sale, though, and includes Pirates, Venice and Rennaissance. Weird that's not being offered on GOG?
fair one, if im honest, thats the one i thought you meant, but didnt say, and yes i feel that would have been better, however, i guess its a money issue or license or something.
Nice release with promo. Keep bring Nordic titles on GOG.

To be honest.. the last two weeks i played nearly nothing but the guild 1 and the guild 2. I was always a big fan of it. Thats also the reason why i got all of them in original here. :D And the funny thing is even the guild 1 still works perfectly fine on my windows 7.^^

Not my cup of tea, but a dear friend of mine is now very, very happy. ;)

Anyway, more German localizations are always welcome. Keep on the good work!
Also, a big hearty VIELEN DANK! goes out to ThomNG and Nordic Games for generously providing us with the German versions of all three Gilde games :)

Next time you see ThomNG, be sure to thank him :)

So anyways, I'd like to ask a German speaker to PM me, please, because Google translate sucks :)

I always do.

Though I have to say, it is a little bit weird. A few months ago I asked in the Nordic Games forum about a German version for The Guild on GOG.com, and was brushed of. First I was told that you could just patch it in, and afterwards they said that they're sorry but it's not possible.

So, next stop, Spellforce games, please. ;)
