Aurum potestas est.

The Guild Gold Edition + The Guild 2 + The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas, the entire collection of the fun and complex medieval European dynasty sims, including two titles released today, is available bundled 60% off on GOG.com. That's only $11.97 for the set of three for the next 72 hours!

Europe, 1400 A.D. - The last crusade, which started 6 years before, ended in a horrible defeat when the crusaders failed to conquer Nikopolis before being reached by the armies of Osmans and Serbs. The dream of conquering Jerusalem is forgotten, and European authorities are well aware that over the coming centuries, they will be submerged into defending themselves against the Osman forces, which have several outposts in Eastern Europe. The Roman Catholic church is in a state of devastating dispute and intrigue, and uprisings are clearly just around the corner.

The Guild Series Bundle brings two new titles to GOG.com. The Guild 2 is a unique mixture of RPG and life simulation in an immerse middle ages scenario. The player and his party become part of history and can even change it in real-time. Go back to the dark middle ages and found a new dynasty. Take care of yourself, because your opponents never sleep. Marry a beautiful wife and make new friends; control your life. Hand down your skills and your descendants will greatly appreciate it. The Guild 2: Pirates of the European Seas is a stand-alone expansion that transforms the game into an even greater experience by adding a huge area including the cities of "The Hanse" located at the shores of the European seas. Sea battles and naval trading are added to the gameplay, and a new campaign mode provides more than 10 hours of additional fun.

For the next 72 hours you can transport yourself into the European middle ages and start your very own dynasty of money-grabbing power-mongers with The Guild Series Bundle, for only $11.97. The games are also available separately, for $4.99 each. Titles already owned count towards the bundle completion and the higher discount rate. The offer lasts until Sunday, March 2, at 10:59AM. After that, the series receives permanent 20% off discount for those getting all three titles.

tinyE: I think I'll try not sucking so much at #1 before I give this a go. See you all in ten years. :D
In any case, I bet you could do well if you wanted to!

You don't have to suck if you don't want to :)

Depends on the job I'd say.
I've got Renaissance from another site but this offer is a good chance for me to start building the whole set here. Well, it is if the rest of the set is coming. But for now I've snagged this bundle, so thanks for that!

The Guild games are absolutely not my cup of tea but it's disappointing to see more games from germany without german language here. That's just one more reason to buy games from another store for many people.
I'd like GOG to include german language in forthcoming releases and also add it to older games like Disciples 2 and the "newer" Daedalic games. But i don't have much hope at the moment, seems that we german customers aren't that important after all.

Huh, I didn't even know the Guild had a sequel. OK so be honest, is it crappy shovelware or decent?

Let me say so: The last time I saw it, it was a decent game with a shovel full of crappy bugs. ;)

RadonGOG: Why is the german language pack missing in this release? :(
That doesn´t make any sence! It was a german game, why can it even be not in there?!
We have not expected so many requests on the German language but as they have occured, as, followed after that, also GOG asked us if we can't add them and as we understand the wish that especially on a German game German language should be there, we just send the German language packs for The Guild 1 Gold, The Guild 2 and The Guild 2 Pirates of the European Seas over to the GOG team. As long as no technical issues are occuring (especially on Guild 1 Gold in terms of compatibility with newer OS etc.) I am expecting them to be added soon.

Greetings

These games are not my cup of tea, but I think that's a great decision of you. :)

(I know, I'm sounding repetitive, but German versions of the original Spellforces would be highly appreciated too... After all, Spellforce was made in Germany as well. ;) )

You've been the forums here for so long now, and you still don't know about your annoying German-speaking customers? :p
Anyway, thank you very much for the German versions. I will buy all three games as soon as they are added!

DAlancole: No German, no buy!
No woman, no cry? :D
Guess you're in luck!

That's great, you guys! And I can tell you now it's always better to include the original language!! And there are always people complaining the about languages (especially Germans - and Austrians, I forgot :P, especially when it's about Daedalic Entertainment games :D).

Well done Thom Turkey, that's a nice response time! Glad to see there weren't any overarching reasons the language pack was excluded. I definitely recommend you include German by default in your releases here, as they are a pretty vocal bunch. (Understandably, since they seem to be treated differently when it comes to games in just about every way.)
Looking forward to Nordic bringing Titan Quest eventually! :)
I see one of my favourite games of all times is getting here, cool! I'll wait for Renaissance though...

Does it get any fixes? Like a way to cure the Black Death would be nice. Or fixing the netcode to keep it from desyncing. Pweese?
